James Papakirk


Jim is a founding member of the firm, concentrating his practice in the areas of civil litigation and business law at the trial and appellate levels and in mediations and arbitrations. Jim has extensive experience in handling a wide variety of civil litigation, in state and federal courts, including contract disputes, construction, probate, real estate, employment, and insurance coverage. Jim has represented individuals, attorneys, public and privately owned businesses, financial institutions, insurance companies, builders, and developers.

Jim received his B.S. from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio and graduated cum laude from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School, where he served as Case Notes Editor for the Thomas M. Cooley Law Review. Jim is the past Chair of the Atrium Medical Center Foundation and is currently serving on several of it’s committees and Jim is also the Chairman of the Board of Junior Achievement in Middletown, Ohio. Jim was named an “Ohio Super Lawyer Rising Star” by Cincinnati Magazine.
